Thai Mint Sauce

Self declared foodie here! Is that you too?

I am a flavor seeker but the experience of where I have the food is important too. This summer I finally took the kids to Life and Time, an organic free range experience in Bend, Oregon. I had the Crunch Thai Bowl with fried tofu, it is mind-blowing delicious! I left feeling great and completely satisfied but I also left urning for that flavor combo in the thai mint sauce. Sadly there is not a recipe for Thai Mint Sauce on their website (I looked and then looked again). I went on a hunt and found this recipe. However, I cringe at adding white sugar to pretty much anything except crepes and cookie. Hot buttered rum gets brown sugar! That’s a post for another day.

I replaced the sugar with honey and I didn't go fancy with grinding rice (which would make the sauce a little thicker. Next time I’ll use rice flour because I am never going to want to stick rice in a spice mill and make my own).
